In the last two years, Mr. Goodman has assembled a crack team of software engineers, graphic artists, network engineers, professionals from the science, mathematics, legal and healthcare worlds who work together to provide you with excellent thoughtful automation and networking solutions.

Quick, see the new paid technology table!

Gary, with the help of his team, has been establishing home WLANs all over the Westchester area from White Plains to Putnam Valley and beyond. He has cleansed more PCs of junk than he can count. He uses his expertise and discipline from his long programming career in excising the most stubborn pests from your machine. When necessary he rebuilds XP registry items so that your PC communicates dependably.

Mr. Goodman has years of experience in all levels of programming. From the early days of COBOL to the now popular Java technologies. See my Internet development experience and my database experience.

His experience understanding low-level Intel Assembly language hails from his days as an MCI systems engineer, where he worked for three years.

His experience with C++ harkens back to his days at Value Behavioral Health where he learned Unix as well as Visual C++ 2.0 and Win32. His real-world experience of C++ is reflected in his three years at MCI where he, working with only two other engineers, redesigned and recoded an extremely large legacy document processing facility. This was an object-oriented distributed system designed with Rational Rose and GDPro technologies which is still in production today.

His experience with residential network computing was a logical outgrowth of his MCI experience working with network engineers on SPX/IPX and TCP/IP projects. There, he shared responsibility for a structured 'lab environment' in which he piloted several large software packages and was heavily involved in distribution systems in an NT universe which crossed multiple domains.

His experience teaching, strangely enough, started in the area of music. Notably, once he earned his Bachelor's Degree, he went on to teach private and class piano under the advisement of a student of Vladimir Horowitz.

A natural branching out led him to fulfillment tutoring college students in their Computer Information Systems classes.

OCC has customers all over the Westchester area who trust him to clean up their PCs. He does this well because of specific experience regarding the internals of Windows operating systems. Where did he get all of this knowledge?

  • By writing straight Win32 apps without any "foundation classes"
  • By writing game programming which was a combination of straight C and assembler
  • By tirelessly debugging other people's code until the 'root' of the problem was reached
  • By acquiring specialty knowledge in the area of graphics, DCOM, and JAVA technologies
  • By learning the tools of the trade such as JBuilder and the Visual line of Microsoft products
  • By keeping up-to-date with professional associations and trade-journals.

How did he gain his networking experience?

  • By writing sockets applications under a Dynix O/S on a Sequent platform for Value Behavioral Health
  • By helping various corporate customers with specialized TCP/IP code
  • By keeping "Inside OLE" (the Brockshmidt) as his personal guide
  • By having to debug security issues related to in-house written apps on an NT platform
  • By testing wireless equipment in his lab.
  • By writing DCOM apps still in use today
  • By doing residential installs of home networking equipment (switches/hubs/aps/NICs/wireless printers/print servers/etc)
  • By debugging MAC + PC networks.
  • By researching tough questions
  • By building a network of colleagues in the corporate and educational systems

How did he gain his website building experience?

  • By producing the original Muscle City Glass web site
  • By producing his own website
  • By extensive knowledge related to integrating database and Dreamweaver technologies
  • By working with graphic artists as well as photographers
  • By boldly coding where no man has coded before.
