Web Development Experience
Developed Muscle City Glass, phase 1. Developed my own website. Currently doing development for Egerton/Santype Intl.
Currently doing mostly back-end stuff (PHP) and client-side scripting (JavaScript). Gale usually does the GUIs but for this project Santype Intl has been doing the GUIs.
When I did Muscle City Glass, I programmed mainly in ASP, pulling from a database using OLE-DB. Gale did a few versions of the front-end. Eventually the site was re-developed by another interest. It was graphic-intensive and Gale developed some really cool buttons which resembled power window buttons from muscle cars.
The front end was developed in Dreamweaver MX.
Fireworks was used for graphic optimization and manipulations.
I have done the Flash tutorials and of course played with incorporating Flash buttons on a friend's site.
For Muscle City Glass, used HTML slices, which I found to be a headache. There were many revisions to the site, including the management and maintenance of hundreds of car parts. Never got to the E-Commerce stage. Navigation system was tangled up in HTML slices, so I learned what not to do!
