Why we are better - deep experience plus integrity

Deep Experience

Let us set up your firewall, wireless network, switch, router, hub, NIC or modem.

Do you need help using your packet sniffer? Trying to see what is going on at the various OSI layers? Wondering why you can't get on-line?

Call us first. Most likely we can help.

We are better because we have years of debugging experience. We understand the relevant APIs and protocols widely used today. These include JAVA, CSS2, JavaScript, ActiveX, NetBIOS, TCP/IP, SPX/IPX, DCOM and Active Directory. We know how to debug network applications because we have written and debugged them from scratch. What were these programs written in? Intel Assembly language, C and C++.

Gary spent months at MCI analyzing thousands of lines of low-level (Assembly and C) network and operating system code, untangling it for them and presenting an explanation to them, complete with documentation. He then spearheaded an effort to replace all of this hard-to-grasp code with programmable distributed objects - namely DCOM. As the platform was NT, Gary slowly developed an appreciation and understanding for NT's security architecture - this security infrastructure lives on today in all Win2K based systems.

Many problems your company will experience stem from a misunderstanding or misapplication of security concepts. As Gary as manually programmed ACEs, DACLs, SACLs and tokens he will be able to clearly explain Win2K based security architecture to your company. In fact, we have done just that for The Egerton Group over in Ossining, New York!
